Our export restriction tracker continues monitoring food and fertilizer trade policies by the countries. We have continued to reconcile our database on food and fertilizer export restrictions. Our latest tracking data provides the following new restrictions:
Armenia - Introduction of a six-month ban will apply to the supply of wheat, meslin, barley, maize, buckwheat, sunflower seeds and sunflower oil to states outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), effective from 27 June 2025.
China – Introduction of export quota of 2 million for urea fertilizers, effective from 15 May 2025. Source
Uzbekistan - Introduction of export duties on several goods, including a 100% duty on flour and rice, 30% on wheat and meat, 20% on cattle, and poultry. 1 June 2025.
