According to the recently released 2017 Global Nutrition Report, the world continues to face a serious threat from multiple forms of malnutrition, including undernutrition, overnutrition, and micronutrient deficiency. Continued conflict, weather-related shocks, and the threat of famine have all contributed to malnutrition around the world.

The GNR examines several major indicators of malnutrition, including child wasting and stunting, child and adult overweight and obesity, and anemia among women of reproductive age.
